Salle Cortot Debut & Return to Rhyl
I am so excited to announce that I shall be making my debut at the beautiful, world-renowned Salle Cortot (Alfred Cortot Concert Hall) in Paris, France, this Tuesday evening (9th February 2016). The Salle Cortot, commissioned by the great pianist Alfred Cortot, is renowned for its excellent acoustics, being designed with the acoustics of the violin in mind. The intimate hall is widely regarded as a testament to architecture.
It will be a great pleasure to perform there, and I shall be sharing this concert with fellow pianists Antonil Baryshevski and Robert Neumann; together we will perform solo piano works by Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninov, Shchedrin and myself. This concert is FREE entry!
Further details can be found in the 'Concerts' page on this website, as well as the Salle Cortot website: http://www.sallecortot.com/concert/animato8.htm?idr=1274.
Immediately the night after, I look forward to making a return to the Rhyl Town Hall for a concert as part of the Rhyl Music Society. I first performed there early 2015 (Elgar's magnificent Piano Quintet) with a string quartet from my school at that time, and was so happy to have been invited back, this time for a solo concert. My programme will include two of my own pieces 'Waves' and 'Ode to the Atlantic' (the latter was mentioned in my previous blog post 'Cruising on the Atlantic).

These certainly promise to be very exciting and enjoyable evenings ahead. I look forward to seeing you at these concerts!
With best wishes,
